Bishop, California

Bishop was the first overnight stop of our latest Cali road trip. I didn't know what to expect, and let me be honest; I was floored by the majestic views! Especially at sunrise! We were there first week of April.
Although we are not rock climbers, we could tell this spot is a great one for bouldering. And judging by all the people there even though the temperature was in the 45s, it clearly is!

Bouldering  "Bishop is a boulderer's paradise: This is one of very few places in the world where a high concentration of world-class bouldering combines with maganificent scenery, convenient amenities, and near-perfect weather. "
More bouldering "It seems that the more our sport progresses, the younger our prodigies get. 10 year olds are climbing v13 and redpointing 5.14a while 11 year olds jug up El Capitan and redpoint 5.14c. The pool of strong young climbers continues to grow, making it difficult for up-and-comers to stand out."
