Les Sierras
One of my favorite to shoot is the Sierra Nevada California landscapes, on the eastern side.
I admire these mountains not only from a photographer standpoint but for all the outdoor activities it offers. The landscape is all in contrast and offers gorgeous dramatic sceneries. I can’t tell you how many pictures I took while we were driving on Hwy 395! If you’re an Eastern Sierra lover or know one, this has to put a smile on your face. Don’t hesitate to ask; I can tell you exactly where I was standing when I took these images :)
The Eastern Sierra is a region in California comprising the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada, which includes Mono and Inyo Counties. The main thoroughfare is U.S. Route 395, which passes through Bridgeport, Lee Vining, Bishop, Big Pine, Independence, Lone Pine, and Olancha, with Bishop being the largest city in the area. It is sparsely populated but well known for its scenery; major points of interest include Mono Lake, Bodie, Mammoth Lakes, Manzanar, and parts of Yosemite National Park and Death Valley National Park. —Wikipedia
